Abstract This study investigated senior secondary school students? perception and gameness towards the use of mobile devices in learning mathematics in Obio/Akpor Education zone of Rivers State. Descriptive research design was adopted in carrying out this study. The population of the study was all public senior secondary schools in Obio/Akpor Education zone. A total of two hundred and fifteen (215) students were used as a sample for the study which comprises one hundred (120) male and ninety-five (95) female. Four research questions guided the study. The data were analyzed using mean. A questionnaire named Perceptions and gameness towards the use of mobile devices in learning mathematics structured by the researchers (SPGTUMDLM) was the instrument used for data collection, and the instrument was face validated by three experts. Reliability coefficient index of 0.80 was obtained using split-half method. The result revealed that most senior secondary school students have positive perception towards mobile learning and would like to use their mobile phones to learn mathematics. They were confident that mobile phone will be useful to them, and have therefore expressed their gameness and enthusiasm to adopt it in learning mathematics. Based on the result, it was recommended that Curriculum planners should include a course on the use of mobile devices in senior secondary school mathematics curriculum.
