Abstract This study analyzed the comparative effect of Cyclic Theorem Game (OCT) in private and public Senior Secondary School Students? Achievement in Geometry. This study was a Quasi-experimental research, which was conducted in secondary schools in Enugu Education zone of Enugu State. The sample size of the study was nine hundred and ten (910) Senior Secondary School Two (SSS 2) students in four (4) sampled co-educational secondary schools in Enugu Education zone. Mathematical Geometrical Cyclic Theorem Test (MGCT) was the only instrument used for data collection, which was validated by three experts. Its reliability coefficient is 0.86. Mean (x ?) and standard deviations (s) were used in answering the research questions while Students T-test was used in testing the research hypotheses at 0.05 alpha levels. The study discovered that students that are taught Geometry with Cyclic Theorem Game (OCT) (Experimental group) performed better than those students that are taught Geometry with Expository method (Control group) in both pretest and posttest. The study also discovered that the female students perform better than the male counterparts in experimental group. Lastly, the study discovered that the students in the Private schools perform better than those in public schools. The study recommended that government should be sending inspectors to schools for inspections in order to ensure the effectiveness of mathematics teachers.
