Prof. E.B. Kolawole1 and Olofin S.O.2

Abstract This paper presents the content analysis and revised edition of a 5 step problem solving method tagged Kolawole?s Problem Solving (KPS) method as a key to sustainable change in Mathematics teaching, learning and research/article writing. KPS is a 5 step mechanism that maps the domains with the behavioural objectives or passwords which is expressed in term of terms and terminologies which are used to teach, learn, solve, test and evaluate a given problem. KPS is based on 10 assumptions for effective teaching, learning, and research and article writing. This paper includes definition of terms and terminologies, the theory of KPS, theoretical framework of KPS, basic steps of KPS, KPS mapping model, KPS evaluation model, application and illustration of KPS, and typical examples of the application and illustration of KPS. KPS method could be used in teaching, research and article writing, thesis writing, item writing, test construction, solving and evaluating mathematical problems. Keywords: Content Analysis, Kolawole?s Problem Solving (KPS), Mathematics Teaching, Research Development
