Abstract The purpose of the study was to investigate effects of graphic organisers on students? interest, rating of teacher, and performance in mathematics. The participants were Senior Secondary One (SSI) students of Cooper Memorial Secondary School(CMSS) Langtang. The school had two arms of SSI students; one arm had 36 students (experimental group) and the other had 30 students (control group).Three instruments were used for data collection; Questionnaires titled Students? Interest Inventory(SII), Students? Rating of Teacher(SRT), and Mathematics Performance Test on Sets(MPTS).The data collected was analysed using mean, standard deviation, and t-Test byStatistical Package for Social Sciences(SPSS) version 20. Results showed that Students taught with Graphic Organisers(GOs) performed better than those not exposed to them. Also, students taught using GOs had statistically higher retention mean score than those taught without them. Again, on rating of teacher, GOs students? rating of teacher was statistically significant when compared to their counterparts no exposed them. However, there was no significant mean difference in the performance of students exposed to GOs in terms of gender. It was recommended that mathematics teachers should use GOs to facilitate understanding and retention of concepts in mathematics. Keywords: Graphic Organisers, Rating of Teacher, Performance in Mathematics.
