THIRD AND FOURTH ORDER ITERATIVE SCHEMES FOR NONLINEAR SYSTEMS USING DECOMPOSITION APPROACH

Abstract Systems of nonlinear equations often evolve from problems in applied sciences. Analytic means of obtaining solution to these resultant systems of nonlinear equation are often difficult or insoluble, hence the need for iterative means. In this paper, new families of iterative methods for solving systems of nonlinear equations are developed using weighted coupled system equation with decomposition technique. The convergence of the proposed methods is proven and some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and performance of the new families of iterative methods developed.
