Abstract This paper deals with the efficiency of some higher order kernels of the Beta polynomial family and their hybrid. The generalized efficiency expression for the kernel functions was derived. Also, the efficiency expression was implemented for the different kernel functions. The results obtained showed that the hybrid kernel of the higher order kernels of the Beta polynomial family considered was more efficient than their respective higher order versions.
