Abstract Yearsback, when the Ebola virus disease was first identified, the disease remained a serious public health issues in African regions where recurrent outbreaks were observed, (Chowell, Hengartner, Castillo-Chavez, Fenimore and Hyman, 2004) In this paper, a mathematical modeling and solution on the transmission dynamics of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Nigeria is presented. Mathematical Solutions were obtained as the EVD model were subjected to various control parameters such as quarantine, treatment, public enlightenment campaign and cremation (proper burial) of the infected dead persons. We obtained the graphical profile using MAPLE software package The results of these clearly show the effectiveness of mathematical modeling and solutionson EVD. It was found that when controls were fully and effectively applied it resulted in total and complete wiping out of EVD leading to a disease free Nigeria. KEYWORDS: Ebola Virus Disease, Control, Quarantine, Public Enlightenment, Treatment and cremation.
