This research paper considers, a typical decision making process by a male partner to determine the choice of a life partner given some criteria of equal importance to him. Using fuzzy Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method, we give a mathematical view of this fuzzy decision making process and from the results, substantiate the fact that there must be an informed level of understanding which some call compromise, in other to gain a reasonable level of satisfaction from a marital relationship.
