In this paper, we introduce Topp-Leone Lindley (TL-L) distribution using the methodology of Topp-Leone generated family and some of the properties are studied. The probability density function (Pdf) is found to be decreasing, right skewed unimodal, leftt skewed unimodal or approximately symmetric for some fixed parameter values, while the hazard function is increasing or decreasing for some fixed parameter values. The moments, moment generating function, quantile function and Renyi entropy are obtained. The maximum likelihood estimation method is used to estimate the parameters of the new distribution. Finally, a real lifetime dataset is used to illustrate the usefulness of TL-L distribution.
