Fatliqouring is one of the processes in leather manufacturing technology. It is a process of transporting lubricant into internal structures of the leather material. This paper focused on the mathematical modeling of diffusion and transportation of lubricant into the inner porous structure of the leather, wherein lubricant is not bound to the structure. Diffusion mechanism of the components transport in the internal structure and the isotropic properties of leather material and subsequently all deviations from Fick?s diffusion equation are included in the value of effective diffusion coefficients. Based on the formulated mathematical model, the main parameters influencing the process of fatliqouring are considered. Keywords: Fatliqour, Diffusion, Mathematical model, Leather.
